The Picnic in the Park will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. JP Moseley is located at 1041 Millers Mill Rd in Stockbridge.

Calling All Young Artists!

Henry County is celebrating its 200th birthday this year and many fun events are planned to mark this momentous occasion. We also want to fill the county administration building with Bicentennial-themed art from children in our community and are looking for artwork to adorn our walls.

We want artwork from children from pre-k age up to age 17. The art can be any medium you choose in sizes 9"x12", 12"x18" or 18"x24".

The artwork will be framed and displayed in the Henry County Administration Building through the end of the year for all to enjoy.

Please drop off art pieces to Kevin Williams at the Henry County Administration Building located at 140 Henry Parkway in McDonough GA. Artwork must be received by July 28.
